I'm Zae. I'm originally over here
cyb3r_0ptik. This is my vegan journal. I'm vegan, gluten free, and soy free. This limits the amount of foods I can have, so I have to come up with interesting ideas for foods often.
I'm generally poor, so the majority of the stuff that I make is with what I have lying around the house, modified from other recipes I've come across. Many of the recipes I have or create can be modified to your own liking, but I hope that anybody who comes across this can take some of these recipes and make them their own for everybody's enjoyment.
Sometimes I'll have a few extra dollars for the month and I'll be able to make something extravagant.
The most common items you'll find in my cooking is garlic, onions, extra virgin olive oil,chickpeas.
I'm also in huge favor for curry, cayanne pepper, franks hot sauce, garlic powder, cinnimon.
I generally tend to make more than one serving of everything. It's easier to reheat the next day and eat more, than cook a whole new meal. Because of this, I most likely won't say how many potatoes, or onions. Most of everything is simply eyeballed as to how much I want to make.
